Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister G.L. Peiris was the chief guest at the ceremony where some 76 officers passed out. Sri Lanka continues to recruit military personnel, after government forces defeated the Tamil Tiger rebels and ended 37-years of ethnic bloodshed in May 2009.
