Vintage + Contemporary

Browsing through on one of my favourite on-line resources I was immediately drawn by these interiors. The whole soft colour scheme really did it for me and its usage of vintage pieces mixed in with contemporary designs. Not to mention the distressed wooden flooring used which I find so appealing and gives it that rustic edginess.

There is just something about white/grey interiors that just does it for me, especially when splashed with a hint of blue, then I am in heaven.

Today I feel totally inspired with these images, hope you do to!

Christopher Guy

I have always been a fan of Christopher Guy. His furniture emanate timeless  beauty, contemporary chic and classic pieces. If you haven't come across his pieces then you are missing out.

Born in Britain Christopher Guy grew up in Spain and France and now lives in Singapore, a man of many cultures which is translated into his work. Producing a vast range of furniture pieces, lighting and accessories it has positioned his brand at the forefront of international design.

Here are some images of his exclusive collection, very lush!

Milan Report

Unfortunately I never made it to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan this year. I usually try and go every year, so was greatly disappointed to have missed it. However I have kept myself informed and up to date with all the latest trends that stole the show.

Looks like it didn't fail to impress this year with its stunning products on show. Here is a selection of the ones that caught my eye, I personally think they are pretty unique!

Foster & Partners' Arc Table For Molteni&C.

Dark Grey Ammonite Seat From Sicis.

The Phase Bureau By Patternity.

Alivar Shanghai Bookcase.

I4 Mariani's Oyster Light Chair By Mauro Lipparini.

The Hues Table From Out of Stock Design.

Prisma Sideboard By Linfa Angluar.

Skitsch

I am quite excited of this new Italian shop that has just opened on the Brompton Road, Skitsch. The Italians do know a thing or two about style and this shop really proves this statement to be true. Selling all kinds of fun and funky furniture and accessories from the likes of Jaime Hayon and Bertjan Pot you really are spoilt for choice. If your looking for originality and something that oozes coolness then look no further as this is a must destination stop for you.

Below is a selection of products that particularly caught my eye. I just think that these pieces would look great in the right interiors, would they look good in yours? Go on give it a try...
