Zagazoo By Quentin Blake

I have always been a fan of Quentin Blake’s illustration and writing so it was no surprise how excited I was when his collaboration with Osborne and Little was released this Summer. The collection is called Zagazoo and it is just delightful. With a series of five wallpaper designs and six fabric prints in several colourways, they are simply just fun!

A feeling of nostalgia erupts when I see these prints as all the memories of Quentin's cheeky characters from Roald Dahl's books pop to mind. From The BFG, Matilda, The Witches, and so many more, they bring back fond memories. I love his quirkiness, perfect for children and for adults that reminiscent the fond memories of their childhood days and bring that sense of comfort and fun.

Madeline Weinrib

The weekend is officially over but it has taken me sometime to get back into the swing of things. I am still feeling the effects of my pre birthday celebrations, drinking games are definitely not a good idea with me ;)

Back to what I love best, I found these gorgeous cushions from designer Madeline Weinrib, she creates the most exquisite cushions and rugs. I am loving the Ikat cushions at the moment, they have made such a come back in the design world which I am very happy about.

Check out her website where there is a whole wide selection of fantastic pieces from this very talented designer. Here is a selection of my favourite from the Ikat collection. I think they would look great for summer and can just visualise them in a carribean beach house with crisp clean white interiors......oh I do think it's time for a holiday soon ;)

Today I'm Loving...

These playful patterned 'Mirrorings' rugs by Petra Lundblad-Friden. These gorgeous printed wool rugs are mirror-image patterns combined with a background of various shades. With its beautiful graphic designs and choice of colours these rugs give an illusion of harmonious movement, making them very unique indeed.

The inspiration for this design came originally from telephone doodles and sketches of different colour finishes. The name, Mirrorings, reflects both Petra’s thoughts and the graphic designs.

Great for adding fun patterns to your interiors!

  Available from Kasthall, £1,452.
