Happy New Year peeps! It's great to be back on my little blog I have to say I rather missed it while on Holiday! I had such a wonderful break, Pisa as always was lovely and it is always nice to catch up with old friends in the company of great wine and food :) However the real highlight for me was my four day break in Paris, I forgot how much I adore this city, It's beauty just blows me away. I have taken a few photos so next week I will be sharing them on the blog and I just can't wait.
In the mean time here is a look at a restaurant we went to eat on the first night called 'Derrière'. It's a fabulous one of a kind family apartment-style venue where you really do feel like you are eating at someone's place. You can choose whether you want to sit in the lounge, dining room, bedroom or boudoir. There is even a ping pong table where we had so much fun playing in between meals. The décor and furniture are an eclectic mix of styles and the food is a simple French cuisine with generous portions, just the way I like it :) If you do go make sure to check out the private area, the décor is fab!
