MB Proud Many Terengganu Athletes Will Take Part In London Olympics

KUALA TERENGGANU, June 16 (Bernama) -- Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said today expressed his pride and congratulated three more cyclists from the state picked for the London Olympics in July.

He said Mohd Adiq Husainie Othman from Kemaman and Amir Mustafa Rusli, 25, from Dungun were picked due to their versatility.

"Both of them were picked because they can perform in hilly areas and also flat land," he said when approached by reporters, here, Saturday.

Yesterday the Malaysian National Cycling Federation selection committee decided the duo would shoulder the challenge of the highway event.
