Jumping into Olympic history - Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

They jumped from three metres in the air spinning in the air before landing with millimetric precision in the water. They "flew" over a bar put over six metres high -- the height two stories house -- with only a pole and their bodies to push them up. They leaped over the length of four cars parked in front of each other in three long steps, or just into each other arms after an Olympic gold medal performance.

They are Mexican diver Yahell Castillo, Australian pole-vaulter Steven Hooker and Portuguese triple-jumper Nelson Évora.

Relive the moments in which these amazing athletes grabbed the attention of the world with these incredible leaps during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and took their place in Olympic history.
