BBC News HD - Teen Choice Awards highlights 2012

 
Taylor Swift has picked up five prizes at this year's Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

The star, 22, won the Choice music female artist and female country artist categories as well as voice actress for her role in animated comedy The Lorax.

Other big winners of the night included Justin Bieber who won four awards and former X Factor group One Direction who won three.

Zac Efron took home the Choice movie actor in a drama and Selena Gomez accepted the Choice music group award - while the crowd sang her Happy Birthday.

And actor Jonah Hill picked up his surfboard-shaped trophy for 21 Jump Street.
