Top players knocked out from Madrid Open 2011

Another flying kiss to the crowd this time from the current World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki.

Even before the semi finals of the Madrid Open 2011, top players are knocked out of the games and that include big stars Maria Sharapova and current World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki who lost 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 to ranked 27th German Julia Goerges at the third round of the Madrid Open.

World No. 3 Zvonareva also made an exit after the round with Kvitova ranked 16th. Kvitova did it in fashion to win her 6-1, 6-4. Now Kvitova has secured a place in the final after winning China's Li Na.

Facing her will be Azarenka who just won Goerges to confirm her place in the final.
