In a statementWednesday, the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry said efforts were also underway to secure entrance tickets so that Marhazli could be with her during the competition.
The ministry said that her determination, resilience and dedication in overcoming challenges during her pregnancy to participate in such a prestigious competition was highly commendable.
"Therefore, the government will give its utmost support and assistance to enable her to compete in the London Olympics," it said.
Nur Suryani, 30, will be in her eighth month of pregnancy by the time she competes in the 10m air rifle on July 28.
She is set to join the ranks of only three other pregnant athletes to have competed in the Games in Olympic history. The three -- Kristie Moore, Magda Julin and Diana Sartor -- all competed in the Winter Olympics.
