Conran Fabric Archive Unleashed

Here is something exciting that I have stumbled upon, in celebration of his 80th birthday this year, Sir Terence Conran has made available to Surface View a range of stunning mid-century prints, from the Conran archives.

Kept under lock and key at the V&A since the 1970’s, sixteen of the 52 prints from the 1950s and 60s are now available as wallpaper, prints and canvases. These include a selection designed by Sir Terence Conran himself. Having originally trained as a fabric designer at Central St Martins, Sir Terence established two manufacturing companies in the 1950s; Conran Fabrics and Conran Furniture. Although Conran Fabrics ceased trading in the 70s, the designs were held at the V&A for posterity.

Isn't this exciting, they are so fun and quirky, which you wouldn't expect anything less from Conran. Here are a selection of the prints, aren't they divine?
