Vicente Wolf

Good morning all, I hope you had a fabulous long weekend even though the weather wasn't up to its highest standards, but I am sure you did your utmost best to unwind and relax.  My husband and I spent some quality time in the countryside taking in the scenery with good food and wine, pure bliss...

Today I'm still in that airy mood so I feel like expressing my love for this interior designer, photographer, art collector and global traveller, Vicente Wolf. Based in NYC, he is a man of many talents who has been in this industry for the past three decades. His visual is simple, clean but heart warming at the same time, mixing the old with new and the result is elegantly pleasing.

Here are some images taken from a recent project of a cottage in Southampton, New York. I do adore the clean and light look of this home it's just so fresh. What I really love about this project is how he mixes up different types of furniture from Indian armchairs to Indonesian tables and yet it works so well. He uses unconventional seating for the dining area (second image) instead of using identical chairs. He opted for an ottoman, bench and two armchairs and it truly looks amazing.

Another aspect which I absolutely adore is the colour palette used. Just clean white walls showing a great contrast with the furniture. The bedroom is simply gorgeous, I'm loving the tones used and that four poster bed is divine. I do find the whole project breathtakingly beautiful.

Take a look and let me know what you think, isn't it so refreshing?
