London First Night Opening Night Breaking News London Celebrates Olympic Cheer. The eyes of the world were on London for the Olympic opening ceremony. For those not lucky enough to have tickets for the Olympic Stadium, there were still lots of options to celebrate the beginning of the 'greatest show on earth', including a big concert in Hyde Park, featuring the best of Britain's pop acts, including Duran Duran.
